I was really surprised (and impressed) at just how good the standard of play was.
While embarking on my travels I have been fortunate enough to experience new culture, cusuines, courts and of course some amazing straight up ballers. This is a forum where you can ASK ME ANYTHING about the past, present and future and I will respond to you.
I was really surprised (and impressed) at just how good the standard of play was.
It was my first time in a place that I hadn’t really considered visiting prior.
I was surprised to see a thriving basketball community.
From very early on, I identified the courts at Kalemegdan Park in Belgrade as one that I wanted to play on.
This run only came about after having lunch with former NBA player, Damjan Rudez.
I learned later that this court was the main meeting point for the best ballers in the city.
What made it really fun was that because there were so many players.
I watched the guys balling and saw some pretty good athletes.
I was really impressed by the standard of the players.
They told me I would be playing at the “Rucker Park” of Kenya.
